In modern firefighting and rescue systems, efficient and reliable fire trucks are the core equipment for safeguarding lives and property. The HOWO 8×4 Water-Foam Fire Truck, designed as a heavy-duty firefighting vehicle for complex fire scenarios, has emerged as a mainstay apparatus for public fire departments, large industrial facilities, port terminals, and similar environments. Built on the SINOTRUK SITRAK 8×4 high-capacity chassis, this vehicle integrates water tanks, foam tanks, fire pumps, and monitoring systems into a unified platform, balancing rapid response capabilities with sustained operational endurance. It effectively addresses oil fires, chemical fires, and general substance fires, providing comprehensive firefighting support.

PP tank is optionalThe HOWO 8×4 Water-Foam Fire Truck is a specialized heavy-duty firefighting apparatus classified as a combined water/foam fire truck. Built on the SINOTRUK SITRAK 8×4 high-load chassis, it integrates three core modules: a high-capacity liquid storage system, an efficient fire pump assembly, and a long-range firefighting monitor, achieving key advantages in large liquid capacity, extended range, robust power, and agile maneuverability. Its 20-ton water tank + 5-ton foam tank configuration meets the demands of sustained firefighting operations for large-scale oil fires, chemical plant fires, and urban complex fires.
This HOWO 8×4 firefighting vehicle adopts a dual-compartment design for water and foam storage, with a total liquid capacity of 25 tons. The 20,000-liter water tank uses Q345B carbon steel with double-layer anti-corrosion treatment (epoxy primer + epoxy asphalt paint) on the inner walls, ensuring resistance to corrosion from various water sources. The 5,000-liter foam tank employs 304 stainless steel for long-term storage stability of foam concentrates. Both tanks are equipped with quick-lock manhole covers, overflow valves, level indicators, and manual drain valves. The tank tops feature DN80 water injection ports and DN65 foam concentrate filling ports, enabling rapid refilling operations.
The core firefighting system of the HOWO heavy-duty fire truck is the CB10/100 normal-pressure fire pump, which adopts a double-stage impeller centrifugal structure with a rated flow of 100 L/s and an outlet pressure of 1.0 MPa. It supports direct suction from wells up to 7 meters deep or tandem relay pumping. The pump is connected to the power take-off (PTO) via a sandwich-type full-power output device, ensuring zero power loss during transmission. Mounted on the vehicle roof, the PL8/80 firefighting monitor integrates dual-medium (water/foam) spraying capabilities, offering 360° continuous horizontal rotation and -45° to +70° pitch adjustment. With a rated operating pressure of 0.8 MPa, it achieves spray ranges of ≥85 meters for water and ≥80 meters for foam, making it particularly suitable for three-dimensional firefighting in petrochemical incidents.
