Customized 4000L dry powder tanker and nitrogen bottlesHOWO 8×4 Dry Powder Fire Truck is a specialized heavy-duty firefighting apparatus classified as a combined water foam dry powder fire truck. Built on the SINOTRUK SITRAK 8×4 durable truck chassis, matched equipped with Top 1 Chinese brand WEICHAI diesel engine, and maximum power can be 540HP, HOWO brand 10 shift manual gearbox for convenient driving. HOWO heavy duty dry powder firefighting truck achieving key advantages in large liquid capacity, extended range, robust power, and agile maneuverability. It is developed based on normal water foam fire engine, increased with dry powder device, which make the truck meets the demands of sustained firefighting operations for large-scale oil fires, chemical plant fires, and urban complex fires.
The core firefighting system of the HOWO heavy-duty 8x4 dry powder fire truck is the CB10/100 fire pump, which adopts a double-stage impeller centrifugal structure with a rated flow of 100 L/s and an outlet pressure of 1.0 MPa. It supports direct suction from wells up to 7 meters deep or tandem relay pumping. Matched working with 8000L water tanker and 2000L foam tanker, both use stainless steel #304 material. The PL8/80 firefighting monitor mounted on the top of fire truck tanker body, offering 360° continuous horizontal rotation and -45° to +70° pitch adjustment. The fire pump is connected to the power take-off (PTO) via a sandwich-type full-power output device, ensuring zero power loss during transmission. With a rated operating pressure of 0.8 MPa, it achieves spray ranges of ≥85 meters for water and ≥80 meters for foam, making it particularly suitable for three-dimensional firefighting in petrochemical incidents. Moreover, as for the dry powder system, which equipped with 4000L dry powder tanker, matched with enough nitrogen bottles and air valves for convenient usage and working. Also on top of fire truck equipped with special fire monitor for dry powder jetting.
