The HOWO 6 wheeler emergency rescue fire truck is built on the Sinotruk HOWO type II truck chassis, originally 4x2 driving model with wheelbase 4600 mm, the gross vehicle weight of the truck is 18 tons, Howo fire rescue vehicle can accommodate 6 passengers including the driver with 2 in the first row and 4 at the second row, and the rear 4 seats are SCBA type specially for air apparatus. Standard heavy type tubeless wheelers with 12.00R20 tires and 6+1 units, the mounted WP10.300E22 diesel engine with 220KW/300HP, and it has passed the Euro 3 emission standards to meet the requirement of Africa and Asia market. HOWO fire rescue vehicle integrates customized special rescue equipment:

Traction System: The front of the HOWO fire rescue vehicle is equipped with an American Champion traction winch, model N16800XF with a maximum pulling force of 75kN, working angle up & down 8° and left & right 5°, as for steel rope which is 38m in length φ13mm diameter, which can cope with complex terrain such as muddy and sloping land. The HOWO firefighting truck front mounted towing winch can be powered by 12V or 24V DC, the reduction mechanism adopts a first-stage small-tooth difference star gear reduction and a first-stage planetary gear reduction, and the reduction ratio is 430:1. The internal teeth of the reducer are manufactured using a special formula high-pressure forming powder metallurgy technology, and the important force transmission parts are made of special materials and processing technology, which makes it have higher strength and load-bearing capacity. There are breakthrough improvements in many aspects such as clutch, brake and appearance design. The rated tension is 16800lbs.

Champion N16800XF towing winch products are strictly prohibited from being used for lifting or manning. Not allow work continuously for more than one minute under full load to avoid motor burnout. When the motor is overheated, please let the motor cool down before continuing the operation; It is recommended to use a movable pulley when the load exceeds 60% of the rated tension;

Lifting System:  Rear part of the HOWO emergency fire rescue vehicle is equipped with Top 1 Chinese brand XCMG hydraulic type folding boom SQZ105 with a maximum lifting capacity of 5 tons and supports full rotation operation, which is suitable for high-altitude rescue and material lifting.

The new generation of small and light duty 5T knuckle type loader crane from XCMG, crane model SQZ105 with the maximum lift moment of 105 kN·m , maximum working range of 8.3m and rotation angle of 420°, the operation safety is improved greatly because it is equipped with alarm system. Nested stabilizer extensions reduce the installation space, and lower the weight, optimized design of whole unit structure make it beautiful and compact. widely used in transportation, civil engineering, electric power, fieldwork, airport, dock etc., it can be used to long-distance transfer goods too. After installing additional devices, it can also be used for bridge maintenance, aerial wiring and inspection work.

Leveling mechanism of extension cylinder: this mechanism can carry out level regulation for extension cylinder, avoid the phenomenon of cylinder is not parallel to boom which arising from machining error of boom or structure distortion after long-term work, improve product external appearance and stress on the cylinder.

4. Large angle rack cylinder rotation: rack cylinder rotation, easy to repair and maintain, more economical and practical, rotation angle can reach to 420 °.

Lighting and Power System: Equipped with a lifting lighting set (power 4×1000W), the night operation range reaches 7.6 meters in height, and is equipped with a 10KW for 220V and 380V generator set HONDA SHT11500, which supports dual-mode power supply of city power and self-generation to ensure the continuous operation of rescue equipment.
