1. Chassis & Powertrain
♦ Engine and Powertrain The Howo C5H is equipped with an MC07H.35-60 diesel engine, delivering a maximum power of 350 HP and a torque of 1230 N·m.
♦ Equipped with heavy-duty 295/80R22.5 tires, it offers a minimum turning radius of ≤12 meters and a wading depth of ≥800 mm, making it suitable for complex terrain and adverse weather conditions.

2. Structural Design
♦ The chassis adopts a high-strength carbon steel frame, anti-twisting box structure, and the external rolling door design facilitates quick access to rescue tools.
♦ The interior is equipped with adjustable aluminum alloy storage racks and rotating trailers to optimize space utilization.
» Ⅳ.CAFS Foam System :
The CAFS (Combined Firefighting System) firefighting process can be summarized in three key steps, corresponding to its 3 core systems:
✦Proportional Mixing:
The vehicle's water tank provides water.
The vehicle's foam tank provides foam concentrate.
A precise electronic or mechanical proportioner precisely mixes the water and foam concentrate at a preset ratio (typically 0.1% to 6%) to form a "foam solution."

✦Air Injection:
The vehicle's air compressor starts working, generating high-pressure air.
The high-pressure air is injected into the pipeline containing the freshly mixed "foam solution."
✦Fogging and Spraying:
The water, foam concentrate, and compressed air undergo turbulence and mixing in the pipeline, ultimately reacting fully in the foam generator (such as a water gun) at the end of the fire hose, producing extremely fine and uniform compressed air foam.
Firefighters spray this high-quality foam onto the fire scene using water guns.

Fire Pump:
A CB10/60-RS fire pump with a rated flow of 60 L/s at 1.0 MPa is installed in the rear pump room. This pump is built for reliable performance, providing steady water pressure to ensure fire hoses and monitors can deliver water or foam effectively over long distances for fire suppression.

The PS60 fire monitor is mounted on the cab roof. It delivers a flow rate of 60 L/s with a water range of ≥70 m and a foam range of ≥65 m. The monitor supports both straight stream and spray patterns for flexible firefighting operations.
